Burj Khalifa (Burj Dubai) is the tallest building on the planet, whose height is 828 m (before that, the record belonged to Taipei 101, located in Taipei, with its height of 509 m). Today, the Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world in all 4 categories of the Council of High-rise Buildings and Urban Habitat: the height of the spire/antenna, the height of the roof, the floor height of the last "inhabited" floor and the structural height of the building.

The Burj Khalifa spire can be seen from a distance of 95 km. There is an observation deck on the tower – the view from it extends for 80 km.
