The musical fountain in Dubai can be called the brightest attraction of the UAE capital. It is located next to the tallest skyscraper in the world – Burj Khalifa - and is also a record holder. The fountain occupies an area of 12 hectares (length 275 m, width 150 m), and the jets beat to the height of a 50-storey building and are able to simultaneously lift 83 thousand liters of water into the air. At night, the Musical fountain in the UAE is illuminated by 6600 spotlights of 25 colors, the light of which is visible from a distance of 32 km. The design cost of the construction of this miracle was $218 million. How much was spent to complete the construction remains a mystery.
The fountain is capable of performing various dances to 25 musical compositions, including the UAE anthem, a song dedicated to Sheikh Mohammed, as well as famous hits and movie soundtracks.
