Phang Nga Scenic Day Tour
Cost: 1100 baht adult / 900 baht child
Diving into the nature and culture of Thailand begins in the early morning. At 07:00, tourists are picked up from their hotels so that the day is full and as productive as possible. The first point of the route is the Sarasin Bridge, where the group arrives around 08:00. This symbol connects Phuket with the mainland of the country and deserves attention in itself. There is a short stop for photos and enjoying the views of the sea bay.
Next, the path leads towards a unique temple located right in the cave. By 09:00, guests find themselves in an unusual place where Buddhist shrines harmoniously coexist with the natural environment. The temple is nicknamed the "Monkey Temple", and not by chance: numerous jungle inhabitants move freely here, watching tourists and often communicating with them. The place is filled with an atmosphere of peace, and the cave itself makes an indelible impression.
After getting acquainted with the spiritual part of the journey, the active part of the program begins. At 10:00 — elephant riding, which lasts about 30 minutes. This part of the route allows you to experience the leisurely pace of life in the tropics and get to know these intelligent animals better. In addition, as part of the program, tourists can watch the playful bathing of a little elephant — a rare opportunity to see such touching scenes live. A mini-show featuring elephants is also held at this time, which gives the event a special vividness.
By 10:40 a.m., the next stop is planned — the botanical zone, where pineapples, bananas, rubber trees and palm olive trees grow in natural conditions. This is not just a walk, but an informative acquaintance with the plants that are an integral part of the life of the region. Here, tourists are offered a light snack — sliced juicy fruits, freshly brewed coffee, tea and cold water. A short rest in the shade of the trees helps to recuperate before continuing the route.
At 12:00, the group goes to lunch. A traditional Thai menu is served, which may include rice, meat or seafood, vegetables and aromatic spices. Lunch takes place in a cozy atmosphere, surrounded by greenery and accompanied by the sounds of nature.
At 13:00 one of the most memorable stages of the day begins — rafting on bamboo rafts. Moving slowly along the river, tourists can enjoy the silence, broken only by the rustle of foliage and the singing of birds. This is a unique chance to experience the untouched nature, admire the scenery and take amazing pictures. The water in the river is crystal clear, and absolute tranquility reigns around.
By 2:30 p.m., it's time for real relaxation — swimming in the waterfall. Refreshing water, coolness, jets falling from a height — all this creates a feeling of unity with the environment. Here you can just sit on the rocks, immerse your feet in the water or fully immerse yourself in the natural pool.
The next point on the route is the Sea turtle Center. At 15:30, the group arrives at a special nursery, where these ancient marine inhabitants are cared for by specialists. Here you can not only see turtles of different sizes, but also learn how their breeding is going on, how specialists take care of the population and protect the young from predators and pollution. All this helps to better understand the fragility of the marine ecosystem and the importance of its conservation.
At 16:00, the group departs on the way back. The return to the hotels takes place calmly, under the impression of a busy and varied day. The participants of the tour have time not only to see the amazing corners of Phang Nga province, but also to feel the atmosphere of real Thailand — lively, warm, hospitable.
This program is ideal for those who want to cover the nature, culture and national peculiarities of the region in one day. The balance between active recreation and moments for quiet enjoyment makes the trip memorable and harmonious.
