The shrines of the city of Corfu and the Kanoni district
In Corfu, you can visit the famous temples where the relics of great saints are kept, such as St. Spyridon of Trimifund, whose relics are revered on the island, and St. Theodora Augusta, whose remains rest in the cathedral. No less significant are the temples of St. Nicholas. St. John the Baptist, in which Admiral Theodore Ushakov celebrated the Liturgy, and St. Nicholas Gerondon.
It is also worth visiting the monastery of the Blachernae Icon of the Mother of God, Mouse Island, as well as the monastery where the abbot was a disciple of Paisius of Svyatogorets. The relics of more than 60 saints and two miraculous images are kept here.
Shrines of the south and west coast
This route includes a visit to the monastery of the Most Holy Theotokos of the Lady of Angels and the monastery of the Holy Martyr Paraskeva, as well as the monastery where the miraculous icon of the Most Holy Theotokos Myrtiotissa was found. In Paleokastritsa you will find one of the most popular pilgrimage sites with a famous monastery and picturesque views.
Shrines of the North coast
Here you will find the monastery of St. Dmitry of Solunsky with a fragment of the relics of St. Panteleimon and four Pantokrator monasteries, including the monastery founded by Paisii Svyatogorets on Mount Pantokrator. One of the monasteries produces oil, which is considered one of the best in Europe.
