Treatment of cervical caries
We specialize in the treatment of cervical caries, a lesion of the hard tissues of the tooth near the gum line. This type of caries often develops due to the accumulation of bacterial plaque in hard-to-reach places. We diagnose all stages of the disease from a chalky spot to a deep lesion with complications. At the early stage of the white spot, conservative therapy is used with remineralization of the enamel with solutions of calcium and fluorine without drilling. In case of superficial, medium and deep caries, we perform fillings taking into account the peculiarities of the color and transparency of the enamel of the front teeth. We use modern composite materials to ensure a tight connection and an aesthetic result. We treat circular caries in Barcelona, affecting the tooth along the entire circumference of the neck. We carry out a differential diagnosis with a wedge-shaped defect, prescribe an X-ray in case of suspected pulpitis. Prevention includes occupational hygiene and treatment of gum diseases.
